1. How many email accounts do I get?
The number of POP email accounts you receive is dependent on the hosting plan you are on. You can find this information on our hosting plans comparison page here.

2. What are the email login details?
You will have received these details in the welcome email sent when your account was first setup. If you are only using the 'catch-all' or default email account then your login will be your ftp account login and you password will be your ftp account password. If you have setup additional POP email accounts within cPanel then your login will be the full email address, i.e. you@yourname.com.au and your password will be the password you choose when you setup this account in cPanel.

3. How do I add new email addresses?

Email accounts are created using cPanel.

 

To create an email account, then configure your Outlook or Outlook Express, simply

  1. logon onto the cPanel

  2. choose Mail Manager then Add/remove accounts

  3. choose 'Add Account' and follow the onscreen instructions. When complete press 'Go Back' to return to the Mail Account Maintenance screen

How to configure Outlook 2003 to send and receive E-mail

This FAQ guides you in setting up Outlook 2003 to be able to send and receive E-Mail.  

 

1.       Open Outlook 2003, select Tools from the top menu, and then E-mail Accounts... from the pull down list

 

2.       Select Add a new e-mail account, and then click the Next 

 

 

3.       Select POP 3, and then click the Next

4.       On the Internet E-mail Settings page, fill in all necessary fields to include the following information:

User Information
Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
Email Address: Enter your full email address (name@yourdomain.com)

Server Information
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com

Login Information
User Name: Enter your username (including @yourdomain.com)
Password: Enter your password which was provided to your in the Web Hosting Welcome email.

Note: All server and addresses entries are typed in lowercase letters.

5.       At this point, test your settings by clicking the Test Account Settings to verify that your account is working. If everything is configured properly, each of the tests will have a green check mark next to them. If any of the tests fail, go back and make sure that each setting is configured correctly.  Be sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

6.       After you close the Test Account Settings... window, click Next and then Finish. You are now able to send and receive E-Mail from a remote location.  

 

 

5. How do I setup email forwarding accounts?
Forwarding accounts are setup through cPanel, you can learn more about this in the CPanel documentation found here.

6. What's the 'catch-all' address?
The catch all address is something you can set in cPanel. It essentially is the destination for all incorrectly addresses email, or if no email accounts exist is the address for all email. When your account is first setup the catch all account will be the default email account created.

7. Can I alter the MX Record to use other email services (such as everyone.net)?
Yes! cPanel allows you to alter the MX record to allow such third party email services to be utilised.

8. Do you provide a webmail service for me to access my email?
Yes!

9. How do I login to webmail?
You can access your webmail by pointing your web browser to http://www.yourname.com.au/webmail/ (note the trailing slash ("/").
