A course that teaches the essential skills required in managing a Windows 2000 network. The course covers the administration tasks involved with managing a network of Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server computers. Practical lab exercises include installing Windows 2000, administering users and groups, securing data using NTFS permissions, backup, disk management and installing and managing printers.

Who will benefit

IT professionals responsible for administering a Windows 2000 network which includes computers running Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server. This course when combined with the Windows 2000 operating system and networking essentials course, will prepare the delegate for Microsoft exams 70- 210 and 70-215.

Prerequisites
